| Windows 7 Series Mobile - Microsoft getting it's groove back?
Wow, I'm actually excited for Microsoft's new phone!

This is a 22 min walkthrough of the phone. Very minimalistic and completely different from previous OS. Too bad I'm hearing it's not backwards compatible.

Much like Windows 7, it looks like they may come out and convert the unwashed masses on this one as well. After seeing that interview, I think I've found the next phone that will truly fit my needs. Have to wait and see how the rest of it works, but it looks like it will really be a great happy middle between iPhone and Blackberry.

People said "Give Windows Mobile a chance" several years ago. Yet, they still suck.
No thanks. They will never catch up to the likes of any proprietary operating system for mobile phones. Microsoft can suck it.

no multi task or custom OS'? No care. Loved winmo for the customization (sp) but I'll probably convert to something diff now. android i guess

Windows Phone 7 looks great, but for power users it will be better to stay with 6.5.2 and wait for someone to replicate 7's UI. It will be done almost immediately I'm sure. You can already install any number of UI's on 6.5 including those from Android and iPhone.
