i flew Cathay business class two years ago to hk and i gotta say it was the best flight of my life, i actually slept for 10+ hrs and had no jet lag at all wen i landed
and like abdulclamwacker said they just keep feeding you nonstop lol
Getting off the 14 hour flight seems like nothing, almost refreshed.
I'm considered taller, but my knees can't really handle the normal seats. Literally a pain in my ass when I get off.
Next time I want to try Singapore Airlines as I've heard their service is exceptional. Too bad they don't fly out of Vancouver.
Cathay Pacific isn't as good as it used to be... at least from my experience, I just returned from HK a couple days ago..
The cup noodles, they only make ~200, first come first serve, and its really only two bites too, and their food has gone down too, as they've been cutting the budget on that stuff
I've had the best experiences on Cathay. When I flew to Japan four years ago, I got upgraded to business class on Cathay. It was f'n amazing.
Champagne, liquor, fresh squeezed orange juice, whatever as soon as you get on. Kick off your shoes, put on some super plush slippers. Included is an amenities kit with earplugs, face wash, toothbrush, etc in a nice dopp kit that I can't find anymore, dammit. Five course Japanese or Western dinner, breakfast, 3 course lunch and frequent snacks of actual food. Seat folds nearly flat and it's Lazyboy wide and comfy. Felt like a nap before landing, requested that the attendant wake me up about 30 minutes before landing. Woke me up with a danish, orange juice and hot tea (remembered that I don't like coffee).

Service is great still though.
Completely agree, just flew with them last month and seats still suck ass and food was below-average. Although the only good part about CX was Haagen-Dazs
