no. I meant that snow tires with its
softer compound will naturally be stickier in warmer temperatures compared to a harder compound A/S tire, which is not optimized for ANY season. As temps rise, the lifespan of the winters decreases if it is still used on the road.
what's the general consensus or common sense? softer compound = stickier? harder = last longer, trade off being handling. Don't believe me? drive in the summer with winters, see how well you can turn the corners and how long they last versus an A/S.
