Honda civic/crx. fun car to drive and good on gas. and pretty cheap. and relatively easy to repair.

hmmm
im taking considerations for the volvo but id be driving from surrey to van n that bridge is very tight... volvo looks really big... almost tank like...

If I were driving over that bridge, the first thing I would probably drive on a $2000 budget would be that Volvo. And besides, as RFlush put it, "Four doors for more whores!"

Get an old volvo. There's a bunch on c-list right now. They're rwd, you can get a manual, they're tanks, they're reliable. Don't know much more you could want.

again, go to craigslist and put down your max price range and average out the mileage in the ads that come up
