i have a fido phone and would like to change up my plan, currently im getting 100 daytime minutes, 7pm to 7am free eves and weekends, unltd text, call waiting & call id. for 35 bucks, no SAF

question 1) Is caller ID always included on FIDO phones?

I need more daytime minutes but i want to keep everything else the same, including the price,

question 2) is there a plan that can get me that?

I have no need for voicemail or data.

caller id is separate, like 6 bucks but 10 bucks for caller id and voicemail i think

call and ask, if you have no contract or contract is almost up, you can bargain with something

my contract is up this Dec and i like fido so i'm keeping it but see what they can offer me if I choose to sign for a contract

i m on retension $17.50 unlimited eve/wkend at 5pm with 200 minutes. no vm, cid. no SAF.

You should be able to get the $17.50 plan and have them include the following after credits.

200 Daytime
Unlimited E/W from 5pm
Fido to Fido/Rogers
Basic VM, CID, 2500 txts

I posted my invoice over at RFD and I get everything above plus 6gb data for $40 + tax and no saf. It also really depends on who you get on the other line at retentions and also how long and how much you spend with them. I have 2 lines and have been with them for about 7 years now, just got this plan Dec '09 without renewing and it replaced an old retention plan I was on. Good luck!

$40 with all that and 6gb monthly data plan? r u for real? The phone part is $27.5 for most people which is an awesome deal already. That means 6gb data is only $12.50 for you?

man, I been with them for 12 years and I have to fight so hard to get that $17.5 plan? Damn.

This plan would be ridiculous. I'm not going to say it is impossible but it would be near to get that many credits all in one go.

It will probably be difficult to get another rep to do this for you as every time I call in about something, they make a remark about the credits on my account. I have the base plan above on both my accounts with Fido. I also advised the rep that I wanted a 3gs and she gave me the $15 150mb data plan on my 2nd line but also added a $10 credit to help offset the cost just so I could do a hup. She was the best rep I have ever spoken to and she did save me from canceling the accounts. Safe to say when my main account is up for renewal in a few months, I will be signing up for another 3 years just to make sure they don't mess with my plan.

but im guessing the best thing to do is to call in and see how far i can get.

you wont get on a retention plan unless you called? ? Give it a try, good thing may happen

especially to those of you who have iphones how much is your monthly plan tax in.

i talked to CSR couple months ago and i was offered

the basic rententions plan

unlimited incoming
CID 2500 txt VM
no SAF

and i wanted an iphone with that and the CSR recommended i get 500MB for $25

$17.50+$10+$25 (data)= $52.50 + tax

thats like $60 almost per month pretty hefty

i know some of u guys have great plans..damn i want
