saw the ads, looks ok

the ww2 series, movies, games are getting a little -_-


it'd be nice to see a twist, like a film from the german/japanese side
there were hollywood movies about the german pov back in the day which were alright
but since then its like it became completely taboo

even Valkyrie caused a lot of talk and it was about a german against hitler
letters from iwo jima was ok but also met with controversy

so im just expecting the usual from this show, which is nice... but played out

i thought iwo jima was pretty good...much better than flag of our fathers

i watched band of brothers on blu-ray few months back and it was great, def looking forward for this miniseries to hit HD.

IMO for war miniseries are better than movies because it's hard to depict everything in 2-3 hours time.

Band of brothers is the best WW2 movie/mini series period, i only expect great things from this

i dont see how quality movies with epic story lines and amazing actors, regardless of being about WW2 are "played out"

I pirate 99.9% of my movies, but 1 set I wouldn't mind putting the money down for is Band of Brothers in Blu-ray.

That, and the entire series of The Wire.

Just rewatching Band of Brothers on bluray right now. I can wait for this series to come out.

For anyone looking to get the Band of Brothers bluray I got mine for about $35 cdn shipped to my house from amazon.co.uk and it took less than 10 days.
