Can't complain about mine either,
people here mostly mind their own business and it's quite quiet, with the exception of a couple honky tonks and ricers in teal Civics and badly modded Integras.

JSALES 02-26-2010 11:03 PM

my neighbour complains about everything

if i'm warming up my car and idling for a bit, smoking cigarettes etc..

I live in West Richmond ish, on a main road close to the intersection, so every night I get woken up at least twice by sirens as they approach the intersection... lovely.

Neighbours are all nice, no complaints from them :)

My dad was showing off his friend to his friends, and he just comes out bitching about us street racing, and says he will call the cops, when my dad was only selling a set of tires. And he says that to my dad, now neither me or my dad speeds in the alley. and this guy used to be a block captin or some shit says that to my dad. Just because we have fast cars doesnt mean we drive fast. and this guy he drives so fast in the alley that he actually goes past his house a few times.

spoon.ek9 02-26-2010 11:27 PM

my neighbourhood is great except for one guy. he's obviously retired cuz he spends his time telling neighbours what to do, how to do it. as long as it's visible from his house, it's his business to tell you what to do. he also gets upset when you don't listen to him hah.

good thing he's moving!

edit: side note, SMDBICH why the hell did you sig me with that? hahah.

Also there's an old man that always complains when I park in the back alley right in front of my garage. He says that he can park his car in his garage cause of me even tho he is the neighbour behind and one to the right of me. This guys just swings the whole lenght of the alley to even park his small ass Echo.

my next door neighbor is tearing down their one story home to build a 2 story home so it will be noisy for awhile.

one of my other neighbor is using buckets and garbage cans to save parking spots. They even put it infront of other peoples houses parking area.

Euro7r 02-28-2010 01:40 AM

I loved my neighbours at my old house. We'll always have each others backs and help one another out.

Haven't been the story since I moved to my new house. Neighbour is a dickhead. Two old folks with a nasty ugly old daughter, complaining about the dumbest shit. Why is your car parked in front of our house? WTFF when the hell did the street belong to you. FUUUU.

then pour a bucket full of nails in front of the parking spots in front fo their house. One of houses down the street did that and got chew on by a few others lol. Ever since that time they stop using the bucket.

I can't say really great things about my neighborhood(10th street and 4th in New West), but my building is amazing. My girlfriend and I became resident managers in December and so far we have started renovating the lobby, re-doing the parking lot and a bunch of other spendy items that are going to make it the best building in the city for rentals. Everyone is pretty quiet, and except for a few peeps that annoy me, its good. If anyone pisses me off, I can get rid of them.

not really true... you have to go about it a certain way, and have a valid reason or it could come back to bite you in the ass.

I still love my neighbourhood, but I'd really like to find the douchebag from last night :D That jackass needs to stfu.

twitchyzero 02-28-2010 09:54 PM

love my neighbourhood in killarney...in east-van i still think it's better than fraserview because it is more accessible to west-east arteries (to metrotown especially). I guess when I'm older having richmond view and playing golf is more important then yeah.

but i think my block in particular have kids that are all grown up...it's like no one decorates for halloween and little effort for xmas lights.

tonyvu 02-28-2010 09:58 PM

my neighborhood is pretty peaceful, no complaints expect the fucker that keeps parking in my spot lol

Although my condo is pretty nice, it still sucks. My building has a zero tolerance for working on cars in the underground. Something I completely understand and agree with... to a point. But when I went to change the plugs on my g/f's car, I caught some major flack. No oil change or anything messy. Just a simple plug change. :( Sigh... I long for the day when I'll have a garage. Especially because then, I won't have to park beside my parking challenged neighbours. Fuck, Helen Keller could park better than my neighbours. Underground parking sucks balls.

We have such a mix of people in our building too. It's just too bad the resident managers are a couple of old farts, and huge dicks. Everytime I've had to deal with them, they ALWAYS say to me that I need to talk to my landlord... Fuck, why is it so hard to believe that I own my place? Especially after I've told you a million times before.

Ikkaku 03-01-2010 12:24 AM

so does anybody live around arbutus and 49th area? :p

jerjer 03-01-2010 12:45 AM

i don't hate mine, but whats with my neighbor 2 doors down putting a note on my windshield on a rainy day, saying i should not park outside their house because they have to park too? i was just very surprised, considering i've been living here for 4 years already!

hotjoint 03-01-2010 09:32 AM

my neighbourhood is awesome, everyone grows weed and noone rats on each other :) used to be mixed but within the last 5 years, all asians. Mostly nammers and chinese, a few phillipinos

SpoonFit 03-01-2010 10:23 AM

my neighbourhood is great, other than the fact it's ghetto lol.
Has a nice park up the street, transit is not an issue if needed.

in the streets of New Westminster lol
