You'd have to be a skinny asian to fit, anyways. The typical North American is, on average, larger than the Gumby physique required to shoehorn back there.

just get some diaso seat cushions, a rear pillar bar and some takata seat belts in the back and you got yourself some rear seats.

You just gotta cut open that front area so there's a spot for the legs.
