I'm sure there's a lot more things than the word "REPOST" being typed out vertically that annoy !NiteRaven.....
you are right about that too, from "does it have a turbo", which has outlived it's novelty, to duplicate accounts etc.. but those are other issues inherent with RS which are being looked at for solutions, if any
| it is very simple concept : we manage it the site to what we see fit. If you do not agree, that's unfortunate. Just how it is, can't make everyone happy. Either move on, log out, whichever...
the controls are over here in mod and admin accounts, not where you are at. We have a responsibility with these access to maintain RS as best as possible. Some of the rules are "wide-brush" rules, as this one is, because the subject at hand has too many circumstances. Preventive is the better route, and how to deter? that's what the rule is about. There is only but one exemption from that rule, which is the first one to point out, politely, if possible, that it is a repost.
pretty straight forward.

So obviously you haven't been on rs long enough to know that this stupid repost shit is getting really old and its annoying most of the old members. I guess we`re just at that point now that the mod`s tolerance for this issue has gone way beyond of caring. The fact is, JiggaZed tried to do what has been announced not to be done and tried to get away with it by being creative. It doesnt matter whether he did it or tried to do it, its all the same shit. They`re worthless posts that dont need to be seen. and as !niteraven said, keep it simple and polite if its a repost.

You do guys do bring up a valid point about this being a sort of "priviledge" and I guess to that extent you are correct in the fact that you can do anything to want.
