I assume they are for people that have gear on?

d3vil 03-15-2010 09:08 AM

nice "arm rest"

Mugen EvOlutioN 03-15-2010 09:23 AM

steel rims, yayyy

eurochevy 03-15-2010 09:36 AM

that doesn't look very comfortable to ride for a long distance/ time nor does it look like it would hold u in the seat very well for hard turn maneuvers .. not to mention it doesn't look very intimidating..kinda like how the volvo's are in sweden or w/e lol

Rich Sandor 03-15-2010 11:45 AM

There is an option for sports seats for statetroopers/highway cruiser versions with the SHO ecoboost engine. The flat seats are easier for entry & exit, which is what most cops do 1000000x more often than high speed cornering pursuits.

c4@urdoor 03-15-2010 11:58 AM

Oooh looks fast, I'll take my chances and flee on foot. The cop will probably be a fat pig anyways.

Greenstoner 03-15-2010 12:21 PM

looks pretty cool

smk 03-15-2010 12:50 PM

PiuYi 03-15-2010 04:19 PM

fishing666 03-15-2010 05:31 PM

at least police don't drive 335i on duty. that would be problematic in vancouver

StylinRed 03-15-2010 06:45 PM

looks expensive

impactX 03-15-2010 07:14 PM

If it's based on the Taurus, it would be way too small.

hchang 03-15-2010 07:47 PM

Anyone know the engine information? Looks like a gas guzzler.

anti-vip 03-15-2010 09:22 PM

scary looking shit

3seriesBeeM 03-15-2010 09:33 PM

looks pretty nice for a cop car.

from here: http://jalopnik.com/5491850/2012-for...yline=true&s=i

it's based on the ford taurus, and the standard engine is the 3.5-liter V6 Duratec that makes more than the standard Taurus V6 — over 263 HP. But it's the second powertrain that police officers'll be pining for — a twin turbo Ecoboost 3.5-liter V6 delivering 365 HP and 350 lb-ft of torque. AWD is optional.

hk20000 03-16-2010 09:35 AM

at 365HP AWD is still "optional"?? really?
