They never got in to how the ricin in the cigarette disappeared. I'm guessing one of Gus's guys found it, which is why they kidnapped Jessie @ the cop shop. At first I thought the kid smoked the cigarette and got poisoned.

I never really understood the Walt/Elliot/Gretchen relationship. From what I gathered Walt & Gretchen were @ one point together, then Gretchen and Elliot kicked Walt out of the company.

There was a flashback from the first couple episode where Walt & Gretchen were listing down the recipe for being human. I understand that Walt discovered the "final" part that makes humans, human. Somehow, Elliot stole his idea, took Gretchen and made history lol.

BTW, thanks for the Moncado bros interview. Can't believe they were just nobodies that was picked up from the film's Security Dept. and yet were/are one of my favourite parts of the show.
