how do you know a show is baus? when a thread about it is still active a month after a season finale...no not a series finale. :fuckyea: |
just started watching the first season and it ain't bad at all, still got a lot of catching up |
Just finished all 4 seasons this past week. When I first started watching this show, I knew it was about a good guy doing bad things but I always thought that any bad thing he does is always justified and done in a way that the person being killed deserved it. And when I watched season one, this is exactly what happened when he killed the drug dealer in the basement. Not only did Walt killing him have to be justified, it had to be FORCED. He had to be put in a situation where he had no choice and that happened when the drug dealer tried to stab him. I saw that ep and thought "yup, the show is as expected." But daaaaaaaaaaaaaymmm, I never thought they were gonna actually make him BAD bad! At first the show was sad and kinda funny but shit gets serious after! I didn't think Walt was really really bad until he let Jesse's gf die. That was just cruel and disturbing. It's almost not believable in a way but it IS TV and they gotta push him to the extreme if they want to really turn his character around. I felt bad for Walt but ever since his cancer has gotten better I despised him more and more. Jesse is the real victim here, constantly getting screwed and treated like crap by Walt. Anyways I started watching this show because of Bryan Cranston's acting. He does an amazing job and any scene with him in it is entertainment enough. If anyway's read The Walking Dead comics, his shift in character is a lot like the main character, Rick. Doing whatever it takes to keep him and his family safe. WHATEVER it takes. Anyways, I wish I started watching this show a year later when the series is completed so I don't have to wait :P. |

Walts character is very believable. A dynamic character that undergoes some crazy ass shit. If you knew you were dying from cancer, grew up in some spic gangsta ass town. And is a meth lab genius... pretty sure your thought process and mentality would be severely grey lol. Just saying lol |

I got a question. Why were the Mexicans crawling towards that shine in the beginning of season 3? I'm not too familiar with Mexican culture/religion. |
it's their way of worshiping the almighty Heisenberg :fuckyea: |
I'm assuming that whole area where the shrine is located is a sacred area. The cousins look like religious, God-fearing individuals - despite their occupation - and simply went with procedure by crawling to the shrine. Perhaps it's a sign of respect to their God(s). |
this show is freaking awesome!!! |

Has it really been that long since the end of last season? So much of it is still so fresh in my head like Gus walking out of the hospital room. |
^ thats how a true OG goes out. such a sick show, cant wait for it to start up again. |
Gus was on Community, BTW. Watch that show. Fucking save it from those idiots at NBC that want to cancel it. |
