If you go back to the first episode of the series, 50 was spelled out in the fake bacon on his plate.

In the first episode of this season, Walt spelled out 52 with his bacon. So that means that flash forward scene happens about a year in the future.

Thanks for that, awesome point.

Here's my guess - Walter is compassionate again, allowing his hair to grow out again, and giving the waitress 100 dollars.

His cancer is back - this time 100% of death.

The gun is Walt going out in a blaze of glory. "Everyone dies in this movie"

LOL @ beginning of today's episode.

Ronin 08-05-2012 08:21 PM

Maybe we're the crazy ones for thinking Skylar is being unreasonable. I mean, not wanting to be involved with drugs, murder and whatever is normal.

strykn 08-05-2012 08:33 PM

What kind of Rolex? Weird I should have recognized it but it's rectangular.

You sure? I was reading a bit on reddit and found:

Quote:

In case you're wondering what kind of watch that was

TAG Heuer Monaco - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As soon as I saw the TAG I said "It can't be a coincidence that they chose Steve McQueen's watch"

Steve McQueen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Steve McQueen parallels with Walter White on so many levels. Also, I believe he died from lung cancer in real life around age 50.

This show man, this show.

significance:

1 - flashy, gaudy, totally out of sync for a nerd chemist (like the car)

2 - running out of time, walter, youre running out of time
Jesse's Gift To Walt, the significance of that particular watch. : breakingbad

nabs 08-05-2012 11:55 PM

wow, loved the episode, especially the beginning sequence and the last 5 minutes ish.

Ronin 08-06-2012 12:41 AM

Did you notice...

Spoiler!

Shit is going to down in the finale.

nns 08-06-2012 07:45 AM

Someone needs to gif that scene where Walt pulls into the driveway in his 300c SRT8.

Promo for next week:

JSilver 08-06-2012 08:50 AM

A lot of key names have been used or seen in the past episodes especially this one...

"Jesse James" They've so far said it twice... And if you know the background of the Jesse James Story...

Also one episode with Walt and Walt Jr watching Scarface...

Its obvious what these hints are leading to, but we'll see.

Slifer 08-06-2012 08:50 AM

Weak episode, too much bullshit Skylar drama.

Simulated 08-06-2012 09:56 AM

i thought the episode was great. the crazy scenes won't be as intense without all the drama buillding up to it. this is why this show is awesome because everything does happen for a reason.
