cause that flashback scene was in hank's house when he was disabled and working at home on the fring case..so he probably just randomly kept that book around.

to nns's skepticism...walt and hank were JUST talking about chemistry before he went to the washroom so it's not that hard to make the connection... i mean there can't be that many chemists in town with the initials WW

woot go team Schrader

Nope, t'was in the White residence. In the first five minutes, there's a clear shot of the book when Walt gets out of the shower. Definite foreshadowing.

The flashback scene with the W.W. was on Gale's personal notebook, different from the Walt Whitman book Hank found in the bathroom.

Spoiler!

Better spoiler my post even though I have no sympathy for people who come to this thread who haven't watched the latest episode.

I get the feeling Todd is using Walt for his recipe. After Todd is proficient, he will splinter off and either start a rival operation, or become the only operation (i.e. possibly kill Walt).

The handwritten note in the book is almost exactly the same as the one in Gayle's notebook Hank had. It is a direct correlation.

nns 09-03-2012 09:17 AM

lol, they should've added "BAD BOYS 4LIFE" at the end.

k00laid 09-03-2012 11:01 AM

lol fuck I cant wait to see te final season

what i was thining was that maybe the writers will deviate from the expected course of events (walter dying and losing in the end) but isntead come up with a whole new idea. Where walter sacrifices everything (family, kids, ppl close to him) just to keep his empire and in the end he doesnt even know what or who hes doing it for anymroe

2 n r 09-03-2012 11:48 AM

^if u recall from the season premier, walt looked like he was on the run. had a fake ID and everything. so it's confirmed that he will get busted..

Simulated 09-03-2012 11:55 AM

one significant scene that no one has brought up was walt's trip to the medical center. i think his cancer is back and thats why he is done cooking and want to enjoy his last days with his family. ironic that he can't now because hank has a clue.

I believe walts cancer is back, and man.. I hope breaking bad never ends. so I m pretty sure that Walts going to find his way out of it.

after all, I still like Walt. epic character.

strykn 09-03-2012 01:03 PM

so how can walt just stop cooking when he has partnerships with the phoenix guys and czech...? lol

LikeASir 09-03-2012 01:16 PM

^^ Yea, I was wondering the same thing.

ShadowBun 09-03-2012 01:20 PM

^ Todd took over?

DanHibiki 09-03-2012 02:15 PM

Walter is just gonna stare his cancer dead in the eyes and say "...I am the cancer."

6793026 09-03-2012 06:51 PM

i'm glad they are going to end it. how else do you think they will keep making this longer?

I LOVE the part where... ok, so you ARE rich, you ARE THE most amazing cook. NOW what... .you are still lonely at shit, you can't spend all the money, wtf are you going to do now... life still sucksssss

DanHibiki 09-03-2012 07:27 PM

he should make anonymous donations to good causes.

twitchyzero 09-03-2012 07:35 PM

^ you are talking about a multiple homicide murderer

ScizzMoney 09-03-2012 07:47 PM

I figure he left the book there on purpose. I can't see the writers have him that careless. I just don't know the angle they are going to use on his reasons for leaving it around. Maybe by saying he is out he wants to get caught? That doesn't even make sense though.

Lowered_Klass 09-03-2012 08:10 PM

But like others have said, Walt is really becoming a lot more careless, at least compared to the way he used to be.

With all that's been going on, Walt probably forgot that book was even there, or that Gale had signed it.

I bet anything that Hank takes the book without saying anything, and Walt will notice as soon as he uses the bathroom again... then maybe use that poison (we've seen it a couple times now) to kill Hank before shit gets too deep??

Either way, next summer is too fucking long!!!

vapour_lock 09-03-2012 08:17 PM

it looked like hank found the book in the master bedroom bathroom. why didnt he go to the main one? is this common for gwai-lo's?

I was wondering the same thing (except the stupid second question)

Ronin 09-03-2012 08:40 PM

5 (or 6 depending on how you look at it) is the way to go. Masterpieces always keep people wanting more.

DanHibiki 09-03-2012 08:59 PM

walt's probably still a bit sentimental about gale's death.
