The latter part I cannot believe and really doubt it. Those two have been through a lot together. Jesse has helped Walt so many times. Walt even saved Jesse a handful of times.

I do feel Walt is still compassionate for Jesse...even though he treats Jesse like a pawn but he still cares. At the end of the day tho, he would still consider killing Jesse to save his own skin

It wasn't a hitman because Saul wouldn't have bothered stealing the drugs off Jessie.
Do you think Jessie will team up with the the lady in exchange for heisinbergs head. He lost all his cash flow to the cops. No resources, and saul won't help him. That's why walt is locked and loaded. Ricin is probably self destruct button if he gets captured.
I don't think Jessie is all about the money. He's so lost in everything he threw all his money away. Not like he's looking for help at all in these last few episodes.
Bob Barker not returning the love, getting screwed out of the showcase prize, parents kicking him out for being a junkie, Walt causing him to lose all his loved ones and ones he cares about. Jesse's got some serious paternal problems.
