I foresee Jesse realizing that Hank is using him to get to Walt with no actual concern for him, the same way he saw Walt using him for his own ends, and just up and disappearing, or in some other way fucking up Hank's case...
Waiting to find out the significance of the CD (DVD?) Jesse put on the dash of Saul's car - he never had time to listen to/watch it, that we've seen... it seems completely out of place to focus on him putting it there, and Hank finding it afterward. Just screams of "Chekhov's gun".

I thought it was just for blow....they showed him using it and that's how Walt knew he was fucked up.
I could see Jesse killing himself before he is of any use to Hank...or maybe Skylar will kill him?
I don't like to be one of those guys that keeps saying "the last episode sucked", but of the last 4 episodes, 3 of them really sucked.
The first episode was very underwhelming. I wasn't blown away by the confrontation between Hank and Walt. But I figured, that's ok, it'll pick up in the 2nd episode. It didn't, and episode 2 was full of wasted minutes. Episode 3 was very good, it made me think that the rest of the season would be taking a turn for the better.
Watching last night's episode, I got frustrated seeing them waste time on Marie's therapy session and Junior being a bitch. Yea, yea, he's worried his dad's going to die. I don't care. The series is ending and they're wasting time on supporting cast members. Unless Junior goes full cyborg, I don't care about seeing him or his crooked jaw.
Interesting to see how Hank showed such a prick side of himself, what with how he described Jesse to Gomez in such a negative tone. I haven't seen Hank be such a prick since the first few episodes of the first season. Figured the man who's taking down the big, bad Heisenberg would have more dignity and class. Figured wrong. This makes me think that Hank attempting to take Walt down isn't entirely selfless, there's probably some jealousy and envy in there mixed in.
But yea, going back to watch twitchy said, that attitude of time is precious, don't waste it, should've been the tone that was set on episode 1 of these last 8 episodes. Not episode 4, not episode 5, etc. Episode 1.

it's just a plate for him to blow...he's done it on a CD in previous seasons.

although it wasn't action packed, a lot still happened to push the plot fwd.
Agreed Marie's scenes are completely useless...i think most fans care the least about her
Jr's scene at the pool was to contrast Walt and Jesse's scene in the desert....a testament of his sincerity through his lies. At this point, he still cares more about Jesse than he does for his own son imo...but that's until he gave Jesse a chance to talk things through but Jesse threw that opportunity away.
Hank is the process of breaking 'bad'... He's played by the rules to catch this elusive meth kingpin and now that he knows all the lies and had his life on the line becuase of his douchebag in-law...not to mention the dickmove threat tape...wouldn't you do the same to take down Heisenberg? AFA he is concerned..Jesse IS a useless low life.
Oh...and we finally see Skyseinberg...i lol'd when she suggested Jesse should get clapped.

If only that man wasn't standing there waiting for her daughter...*sigh*
"Oh ya. Walter white is all gay for me and shit!"
I enjoyed this episode because we get to see Walt VERY vulnerable. Everyone now sees through his lies and manipulation and for once he can't talk his way out of a situation nor is lucky to get out of one.
Sad that he had to call a hit on Jesse. Posted via RS Mobile

I agree with Dan. I saw Walt as loosing control. Heck even Skylar was telling him what to do. His lies are so transparent.
I was thinking the hit is on Hank. Makes all the problems go away.
I thought it was pretty clear that he put on Jesse. I mean he made the phone call RIGHT after Jesse threatened him. Makes no sense to put a hit on Hank at that point for no reason.
He doesn't even know Hank and Jesse teamed up remember?
