i am gonna predict again. walt is gonna kill jack and his crew using m60. during the fight, he gets injured. jesse gets hold of a gun and help out. they killed everyone, jesse is left with a choice to kill walt or let him live. walt told jesse the money is in the cabin and ask jesse to give it to his family. jesse kills walt.
Called it about 50 % failed on money and Jesse killing walt
After all the speculation, the show ends exactly the way it was most obvious.
Badass, but I kept hoping for something ridiculously dramatic. Great segments this episode...amazing tension with the dialogue.
I get you on that, but its pretty difficult with the fact that there are 2 flashforwards that give away pretty large plot points once you learn the players of the season. I don't think anyone really doubted that the gun was for the nazi's and the ricin was for Lydia.
Go without the flashforwards? Sure. But I think you lose out on the enjoyment of the season in knowing that he doesn't win. Watching the season unfold knowing where it kind of ends up really put everything in context.
So with the majority of the conclusion pre-written, that really locks in a large amount of what else you can do.
With that, I absolutely loved the wrap up with Gray Matter. No one predicted that he'd actually take ownership of his mistakes with Skyler. And, if you start deviating from "the plan", then you risk getting rediculous, as in you are purposely trying to go out of your way to be different.
I'm not going to lie, I lost track of time and thought we might be going for a gun-shot ending with jesse pulling the trigger, but went for a Lost ending in the meth lab.
awesome finale, it tied everything up nicely super happy with an ending like that.
side notes:
Spoiler!
1. seeing skinny pete and badger was great haha i got a good laugh out of it
2. it's gonna take huel a pretty long ass time to starve to death... cmon...
3. if it weren't for her voice, i wouldn't have recognized lydia without make up
4. jesse strangling todd was a powerful scene in an already heightened moment, really got my heart pounding
5. what's jesse gonna do with the rest of his life now? hah..
^ that's a nice thought but he has no blood relation to the kid so it wouldn't really be up to him i'd think. what i meant was money wise since he's essentially back to square one, no?
