THIS, 1000%.

Perfect finish, don't think I would have changed a thing.

Spoiler!

ps. i wonder how much meth is going to pop up after this show, with such a large fanbase we all know there are crazies that were inspired.

also since the show start using ricin poison, people have learned how to make it and have actually been mailing it to the president of the US haha, not saying its funny but people are so impressionable it's sad.

i googled "ricin" to make sure i was spelling it correctly.. and "how to make ricin" was the top search!

taken from another forum:

The theme of “Felina” seems to be this: People and machines are usually predictable. Lydia meets her business partners like she always did, tears open the only stevia packet on the table like she always does. Gretchen and Elliot betrayed on television how much they fear losing their reputation and their elegant lives, and that means that they can be manipulated. Walt has always used this predictability—this scientific certainty about action and reaction—to get what he wants. But it’s taken him until now to realize the correlary: If you can change your pattern, those predictable people and machines will miss you. Walt changes; he’s the only one who does. After their purpose is fulfilled, the machines stay in motion. The massage chair keeps rolling even though its occupant is dead. The M60 keeps sweeping even though it’s out of ammunition. But Walt’s purpose is fulfilled, and he just stops.

saw a comment on reddit and never realized this interesting connection

ironically a robot saves Jesse in the end

I was looking forward to seeing Todd finally make a move on Lydia. Too bad.

I'm glad Lydia got what's coming to her. Her knowing that she was poisoned was icing on the cake as well. I hate that ruthless bitch.

Grid and I attempt to eat dinner (always Mexican cause we a nerds like that), and end up just sitting there with our mouths open in shock.

I had a noodle hanging out of my mouth for half the show while watching Ozymandias. My bowl of noodles were cold after I finished watching. True story.

Saw my highschool chem 12 teacher driving in his WRX a few months back. Thing is, he's bald now :O

twitchyzero 09-30-2013 05:39 PM

so...what dark shows to watch now that's also critical acclaimed?

currently working through season 2 of SFU and the wire...don't hold a candle to breaking bad IMO..i'm sure it'll be more comparable in later seasons.

still waiting for one day for HBO to release The Sopranos on blu in its entirety :suspicious:

what to watch first...Oz or The Shield?

Vansterdam 09-30-2013 05:44 PM

Just saw the ending and holy Fuck!! I'm glad it tied up alot of lose ends.
I avoided Facebook and this thread until I actually saw the ending knowing there will be spoilers lol its common sense these days.

Ending did not disappoint!!

If you like The Wire you'll definitely like. The Shield. Oz is fucked up lol but also not bad.

OZ is an amazing show. Imo start with that one.

ScizzMoney 09-30-2013 07:45 PM

I could never get into Oz. I agree it is a good show, just one that did not entertain me.

So are Walt's. And Todd's. And Jack's.

Majestic12 09-30-2013 09:10 PM

One thing that's been bugging me. Did they explain where and how Walt got the contact to buy the bigass machine gun?

twitchyzero 09-30-2013 09:15 PM

you don't need underground criminal contacts to buy a gun in a conservative state like New Mexico.

He bought it from the same guy he bought his hand gun in Season 4.

Remember this scene?

This guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Beaver
His name was Lawson.

DanHibiki 09-30-2013 10:00 PM

Can't believe the Neo-Nazi's didn't look in his trunk before letting him in.
