Hey guys, I want to get HID for my 2005 Toyota Matrix, but I don't know where to begin. Can someone shine some light?

Thanks!

05 Matrix uses 9006 bulbs for lowbeam and 9005 for high beam.

You have reflector housing so you will blind everyone else on the road. There is a chance to get a ticket as well.

Installation is alot easier than most people think. These are exactly 9006 8000k HID kit (I'm selling)

For HID's there are color temperatures.
4300k - Whitest and most light output 3200 lumens
6000k - White with a bit of blue.
8000k - Light blue.

As the color temperature goes higher, the less output you get.

Hope this helped.

I hope you get projector retrofit for your matrix as well. Your halogen reflector housing on the matrix will blind the fuck out of oncoming drivers if you decide to install HIDs.

There are a lot of shops out there that does projector retrofits. (usually comes with HID bulbs and ballasts)

How much do you think it would cost roughly with the projector retrofit?
