Expensive cars crashed by the mechanic

Quote:
Car: Porsche Carrera GT
Location: Port Chester, NY
Description: Owner took the car to a body shop to fix a small crack on the side. After fixing the crack, the mechanic drove the car to the dealership, but on the way, a truck cut him off forcing him to veer into a telephone pole.

Quote:
Car: Chevrolet Corvette
Location: Escondido, Calif.
Description: This Corvette was being test-driven by a mechanic to diagnose a rattle. The driver got a little over exuberant at the wheel, and fishtailed until he hit a curb. The car flipped, and landed on an Acura dealership's lot.

Quote:
Car: Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT
Location: Fremont, Calif.
Description: The mechanic was test driving the car and somehow lost control only a quarter-mile from the shop. He went up onto the curb and smashed into a wall. While you might think the owner would be mad, it turned out that he was cool about the whole situation. The owner spotted a bystander taking photos, and asked him to share them with Wrecked Exotics.

Quote:
Car: Ferrari Dino
Location: Sydney, Australia
Description: This car was rolled by a mechanic following its first service at a Ferrari dealership. The car was only one month old.

Quote:
Car: Bugatti EB110
Location: The Netherlands
Description: As a part of its annual checkup, a mechanic was road-testing this supercar. He lost control on a slippery road and crashed into a pole. The owner of the car is Emile Ratelband, a famous motivational speaker and "feel good" guru.

Quote:
Car: Porsche 911 Turbo
Location: Tallinn, Estonia
Description: The owner of this highly-tuned (600+ horsepower) 911 Turbo handed it over to a mechanic to repair its all-wheel-drive system. After repairing the car, the mechanic crashed it into a tree on the way to delivering it to the owner.

Quote:
Car: Porsche 911 GT3
Location: Portland, Ore.
Description: A mechanic driving a customer's rare 911 GT3, lost control of it while accelerating. The car jumped a curb, took out two trees and came to a rest against a light pole. The car was totaled, and had to be replaced.

Quote:
Car: Acura NSX
Location: Saskatoon, Sask.
Description: During a test drive, the mechanic working on this Acura NSX was cut off, and lost control traveling more than 160 km/h. This caused him to slide into a curb, which severed the car's brake lines. He went airborne, landed on a hill, and crashed into a fence.

Quote:
Car: Audi R8 4.2 FSI
Location: Romania
Description: The owner of the car had left it at a service station for an oil change. The mechanic took the car out on a test drive, and while driving on the highway, the engine caught fire, burning the car to the ground.

Quote:
Car: Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG
Location: Sittensen, Germany
Description: A young mechanic test-drove this customer's Mercedes-Benz SL straight into a tree.

Quote:
Car: Bentley Azure
Location: Europe
Description: This prestigious Bentley convertible fell off the car lift during its pre-delivery inspection. Oops!

Quote:
Car: Dodge Viper GTS
Location: Amman, Jordan
Description: After being serviced at the sole Dodge dealership in the country of Jordan, the mechanic thought it would be a good idea to take the car out on a joy ride. He lost control at over 120 km/h, left the road and flipped the car twice.

Quote:
Car: Toyota Supra Twin Turbo
Location: La Jolla, Calif.
Description: The mechanic working on this high-performance Toyota took it on a joy-ride in a residential neighbourhood, which ended when he hit a tree. As the mechanic had no insurance, the owner paid for the damages out of pocket.
