Any of you guys go to the noon time kickboxing

Noon classes are usually dead cause everybody is at work or school.

The 430-530 classes use to be packed at the Cambie location but not so much at the Richmond one right now. The 530/630 classes are the ones that get busy.

I'm the guy wearing Jaco shorts. Can't be hard to find me since I'm the only one that wears Jaco in the gym haha

How packed is packed? Does it ruin whole experience of training? Or makes it better (maybe more people to practice with)

We usually do 10 minutes of stretching and warm up and then you pick a partner and you're with that person for the rest of the session.

Being packed isn't that big of an issue anymore because the mat space is about 2x the size of the entire cambie location lol

woah, 4400 square feet. Is that only the matts or that includes the weight, bags and etc?

1/4 of the gym is taken up by the cage
change rooms upstairs

Guess I'll skip the 430 class and show up to the 630 session since you & vafanculo will be there

Show up in shorts/tee & sandals cause they're pretty strict when it comes to having shoes/sandals on when you're outside of the mats

Bring water, towel, wraps & gloves if you have them. I wrap most of the time if I can get them on before class starts. Most of the people there don't wrap but I hate wearing my gloves without wraps.

No sparring in the beginners/fundamentals class so don't worry about shin pads, head gear or mouth piece.

Most of the people show up in whatever clothes they have. I think there was 1 kid that had it but he stopped wearing it.

If I say the bulletproof vest is part of the gear will you be showing up in one? :troll:

I try to show up mon - friday for the beginner's class. I skip out on some classes because of work but for the most part I'm usually there at least 3x a week.

Are you guys going to sign up or are you going to take the free week and decide from there?

We plan on signing up but after my week is over.

I'm going to try to make it to the 430 class tomorrow depending on how much of my paper I complete for school. :p

My brother and vafanculo won't be able to make it because they have work...will you be there tomorrow?
