they actually have 3 kickboxing classes per day...

Anyone here go to Tony Pep's gym? Tony Pep is probably Vancouver's best produced boxer.

My gym burned down last right when I was about to take classes again this month. (WKX in Surrey) Need a new place with weights around Surrey. Anyone know a place?

U go to wkx? My friends a fighter there Tom, he just said there looking for a new spot up the street

Wkx didn't burn down, the building above and around it did. It was just under 3ft of water. And the new gym is 3 mins away, right by Suitela lol. It'll be open possibly next week. Awesome gym to go too, everyone is friendly. The beginners class involves 30 mins of shadow boxing, stretching and cardio in front of a mirror and another 30 mins of pad/bag work with a partner. If you think you're too tough to shadow box in front of a mirror and think you're "wasting your time," you can join the sparring class and show the fighters that spent hours in front of a mirror how it's done lol.

according to people at my mma gym, thats a "single rhino block"

New WKX gym looks great. But the weights area got cramped up. Oh well. I'm always there after 8pm anyway where no one uses the weights. Sucks they didn't have insurance but they got lucky most of their equipment that got submerged in the water they salvaged, even their new treadmills about a month old before the incident happened.

Where about is the new spot?

Damn..I used to train all over Surrey and Vancouver (Even commuted all the way to downtown to train at Infighting Jiu Jitsu)

This was back in the day before I injured my knee from a sub wrestling tourney. Now I just lift weights lol

Back to LaidBack's Comment... Its not just 1 muaythai class. That class is strictly muaythai with Stanley who's a local muay thai champ.
But like rubberguard said, theres kickboxing classes that are just as great.

Jiujitsu there is awesome too gi and nogi!

Does anyone know or does anyone here go to team Titan mma in coquitlam? I want to start and that's pretty close to me :) any help would be appreciated!

^ Do you teach at the port moody location? I used to train at the same place but it was called True Fighters. I guess they moved out?

I teach at both actually, but yes True Fighters moved out and Franco's FKPMMA moved in!
