The thing with that video is that a lot of people are putting themselves in stupid positions, clearly retarded... you wouldn't do 120 kmh on a windy road like that... you wouldn't hold your baby while driving... you wouldn't let your kid sit in the back of the station wagon, not only that, but cars these days are more safe compared to a lot of those shit boxes in the video. I'm not saying that you should drive like an ass, people always need to be cautious when driving, its just that this video is a little ridiculous.

please re-write, if you need help see me after class...
The scenes showing interior car shots are obviously staged actors. The external ones (ie heli-cam) ones are mostly real. Most of them are of criminals trying to escape cops though (seen the same clips on shows like Real TV), so obviously they're going to be going a little fast for the conditions.
Still a good reminder though to not drive like a douche. I remember almost getting myself killed once doing a bad pass (2-lane highway) in a windy stretch way back in tha day, ended up on the left shoulder as opposing traffic whipped by on my right. Almost shat my pants. Lesson learned.

Too true. Drivers need to be cautious and smart. Pedestrians should also be cautious and smart when crossing streets.
I've watched most of the clips in this video and it did tame me down a bit from driving too aggressively at times.
None of those crashes are done intentionally by the driver in their corresponding situations because we, as human beings, are not perfect and are bound to make mistakes. We may reason inductively that we are safe drivers and those situations in the video have not and never will happen to us, but chances are it may happen to us anytime.
Why does it take a youtube video of people crashing to change your driving habits?
To all the retard's saying there is a time and place. There is no "safe" time and place to do dangerous things with vehicles. A farm road in the middle of butt fuck no where, say 3 in da morning. NO ONE AROUND. You decide its a good time to go up to 180 km/h. You hit some dew, lose control and now your in a ditch full of water. Since its dark, the water murky you don't know your head from your ass. Since no one is around to help you, you drown. I read the newspaper and mummer "One less retard"!
I would really like to know why you guys failed my post/ disagreed with what I said. Were you just taught just to take driving lessons, drive according to speeds, and think that this and that will happen? cool but I don't think that way. I'm basically saying that too me it's common sense places that are safer to speed... If you say this will happen and If this and If that just shows your not 1337.
