class 5 is a breeze

but i almost fucked up on the highway..i had no idea that little strip was the highway so i nearly merged in at 50km/h until i realized it was the highway and quickly brought it to 80km/h to merge

if you're a regular driver, u have out go out of your way to
a) stop completely
b) stop behind line
c) shoulder checks
d) maintain speed limit

Not the best way to memorize, especially if parking on the left side of the road (eg one way street, or driving in HK/Thailand/Australia).

I just think "which direction should I turn so that the front wheels will catch the curb if the car rolls?"

Of course, if there is NO curb, the wheel needs to be turned the opposite way, so that the car won't keep rolling into the middle of the road.

OP, with regards to speed limits.. this is what they taught us at bike school.

Always go +5 everywhere you go, EXCEPT school zones where you do 27.

Oh, and stall when turning left (turn when yellow, even if there is little traffic while green), and shoulder-check a few extra times when parking to kill time.

Yup, I got penalized for the following:
-came to a stop in neutral (they expect you to be in gear at all times)
-shifted in an intersection (can't change gears in an intersection)

it really depends on your examinar...

the first guy failed me because I did NOT downshift it to first...the second guy told me NOT to downshift it to first, because first gear is only for starting.

anyways, I explained him what happend so I drove normally, and I passed.
