with the kind of cash you're gonna spend to frankensteinize the two cars together, you could probably buy a decent brand new car by the time you're finished and have something hideous.

Based on you asking on forums whether this is feasible or not to do this combined with throwing out that you're hearing from "peeps" that a unibody, which is nothing unique to a celica, which has a bent upper frame not worth fixing and yet you're still considering something like this, chances are you're not mechanically inclined at all.

So if you do undertake this be prepared to take out a large loan from the bank for labour and parts.

PS the 5th gen is also unibody and if you cut that up to mash together with your wrecked 7th gen, you'll be no better than if you were to fix up your unibody 7th gen. You'd actually have something probably worse.

dont bother.

since you have a celica GTS.. go find yourself a MR-S without a motor.. then that'll be a great swap.
