It was just a matter of time. I have a feeling that Shaw will be piggybacking off of one of the existing cellular networks, which will result in not making any significant impact to the current wireless telecommunication landscape. |
Shaw said they are going to spend $100 million on building a network in 2nd half of 2010. I doubt they are going to be riding off existing carriers |
hopefully they will do a bundle deal with their tv service + internet + cellular. |

my inside sources said shaw was suppose to launch near the end or 09 early 10, but because of bad timing due to markets and such, it kept on being pushed back. nice to hear its finally happening. |

One of the tech's installed at my house was telling me about this, he said they were gonna put up towers, but I didn't believe him. Wonder what their plans are gonna look like. I get the feeling they're gonna target enterprise heavily. |
