ProjectDetail - Black C5 Corvette

Detailed this black C5 Vette, got to use my Autoglym HD Wax which definitely brought out some nice shine on this paint. Car was in pretty good condition other than the holograms from the previous detailer. Just a light coat of dirt on the paint, didn't take much out of the paint either in terms of claying. I didn't take any interior pictures, just some befores, durings, and a few afters.

Wash:
- 2 Bucket Method w/ Grit Guards
- Raceglaze Sheepskin Washmitt
- Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss
- Optimum No Rinse
- Zep Citrus

Clay:
- Riccardo Blue Clay
- Optimum No Rinse Clay Lube Dilution

Wheels/Tires:
- Zep Citrus 3:1
- Raceglaze XL Wheel Brush
- Laitner Wheel Brush
- Meguiars Tire Brush
- Sponge
- Swissvax Wheel Brush
- Gloss-It Signature Tire Gloss
- Armor All Wheel Sealant

Interior:
- Ridgid WD1450 Shop Vac w/ Detailing Accessory Kit
- Majestic Solutions Leather & Plastic Cleaner
- Lexol Leather Conditioner
- 303 Aerospace Protectant
- Finish Kare 316 Fabric Sealant
- Chemical Guys Window Cleaner
- RagShack Window WW
- Wal-Mart MFs
- Autowerkes Exclusive MF Applicator Pads

Soft Top:
- Zep Citrus 3:1
- Meguiars Brush
- FK 316 Fabric Sealant

Engine Bay:
- Zep Citrus 3:1
- Finish Kare 108 Dressing
- Autowerkes Exclusive MF Applicator Pads

Exhaust Tips:
- P21S Polishing Soap
- Blackfire All Metal Sealant

Last Step Protection:
- Autoglym HD Wax
- DD Uber Foam Applicator
- Cookie Monster Buffing Towel V2

Befores:

Had to drive over 3 planks of wood to get the jack under to do wheel wells (jerry can out to act as a warning for other drivers to watch out lol...i'm at the end of my alley)

Engine bay had a missing cover so I fabbed this up haha

Scrubbing the soft top

Pulled it back into the garage and called it a day

Afters:

Thanks for looking,
Brendan Siu

Mmm, I like the look of HD wax on that black. If only it was a full correction!

I added ONR to my wash for the added slickness.
