Tons of wineries near this resort, awesome for a get away.

best part is wine tasting is free.

wineries include

burrowing owl
blue mountain
Jackson-Triggs Estate Winery
Tinhorn Creek Vineyard

there are like at least 30 wineries near by, i remember going there last year and was boozed by the 5th one lol

That sounds awesome! Good idea! So wine tasting is free at all the wineries? Is it only restricted to patrons that stay at that hotel?

^ thats correct but ur limit to 4 testers per winery and you dont need to be a patron at the hotel.

Good for u to test out some wines and bring it in to ebisu

go for a walk on Bowen Isl. Hop on the ship from Horseshoe bay and be there in around 20-25 min. I think it's only $10 for rtn tickets.

+1 for this if you're on a budget. Lots of B&Bs. Don't plan to walk much unless you're in really good shape, though, as Bowen is REALLY hilly. That said, there are lots of cool shops and restaurants and galleries and such right there in Snug Cove, within 10-15 minutes' walk of the ferry slip.

Also lots of really great views around the island, but you WILL probably want to drive.
