Found a pretty cool site that records just the audio from any youtube like player and saves it to your computer as an MP3 file in a minute or so. Check it out!

if you use mozilla there is an add-on which display a direct link on each youtube video you watch and it'll do all of it in one click, no need to copy/paste etc.

the add-on is "youtube to mp3" version 1.06

I use this for firefox add on, works great. The hotlink to convert it is in the descriptions portion of the youtube video giving you regular and hq quality conversion so it's pretty convenient that way
