back up lights?

my back up lights dont seem to come on and ive checked the bulbs fuses and wires and all seems fine. is there any chance that putting in a short shifter could have changed something cuz i think they worked prior to the change.

If all that is fine, check the back up switch on the transmission. Two wires, you can get at them from the engine bay

The short shifter install wouldn't have done anything
