$3000 Lambo Replica (Only in China) Many a times car enthusiasts settle for replicas of their favorite cars as they can’t afford to pay the heavy price for the real ones. A Chinese mechanic too headed the same way to turn his dream of owning a Lamborghini into a reality. What is more, he has built the replica Lambo all by himself! Yes, Chen Jinmiao, a car mechanic from Chenzhou City took over a year to build his very own Lambo! The DIY Lambo has been built from several car parts. Jinmiao always longed to own a Lamborghini but monetary constraints never helped him realize his dream. So instead of sulking, he took matters into his own hands and downloaded pictures and designs of the car from the internet. He then headed to various markets to buy the different parts for his project. The end result is for all to see. The DIY Lamborghini boasts of an engine in the rear and can be driven up to 145 km/h. But here is the best part, the entire cost of building the car came up to only $3000! So all you Lambo fans who are ready to settle for a replica Lambo, get creative like Chen Jinmiao and build your very own Lambo. http://www.luxurylaunches.com/transp...amborghini.php http://www.luxurylaunches.com/entry_...amborghini.jpg http://www.luxurylaunches.com/entry_...mborghini2.jpg http://www.luxurylaunches.com/entry_...mborghini3.jpg http://www.luxurylaunches.com/entry_...mborghini4.jpg -------------------------------------- I'm not quite sure what I could say about the build quality. Personally I think he should have invested more in reinforcing it. I don't think it will last a lap on the Nurburgring. |
How can this be considered as a lambo replica when it looks nothing like a lambo? |
I love how MacGruber'd the engine compartment is. I definitely wasn't expecting much for a $3000 Chinese "replica Lambo". |
its quite possibly the ugliest engine bay i've ever seen |
^ exactly what i thought of it |

- Guy buys Pontiac Fiero for $50 - Guy sees a Reventon somewhere, and decides he has to have it - Gets dimensions for a Reventon - Guy is a gearhead and a steel fabricator, so decides to make it himself nothing too major with regards to the engine (350ci smallblock chevy, tranny is the same tranny out of a g6 GT, and some other things here and there. turbo'd i think? don't remember) but as for the body, definitely something special if you wanna know more, just google "woodighini". Name doesn't mean anything on the car is made of wood, just that the guy's name is woody :p |
yea but for $3000 what car can you build FROM SCRATCH! |
the driver would have a better chance of surviving a crash in that than one of those POS Dongfeng cars or w/e theyre called. |
sad, just sad thats all i can say |
