This is a crazy old repost.
Yeah it's in pretty bad shape. And yes, people do die on it every year if I remember correctly.
Another crazy one is Cliffside Plank Path on Huashan, China. Kinda wish I tried, but it's the same deal, except it's planks against a vertical cliff (you hang onto chains with your hands) and it's a 1km drop if you slip and fall.

Hell yeah, I'd do that...although my sense of balance probably isn't good enough for those bare beam parts.
You could just...y'know...clip yourself in with a rope?

I've been to 4 continents in my life. Now I just want to hike some of the craziest trails I can find. I've hiked some good mountains in Australia, but it seems nothing comes close to that Spanish and Chinese trail.

some crazy indiana jones/uncharted shit haha.
if you can be hooked then i'd totally do it..but it seems like it's only for certain sections (less risky ones too?)..big plus is the awesome view.
but honestly i'd be more worried about rocks/debris falling on me..i believe that's why there's all the voids and holes in the trail?
the chinese one looks more thrilling..just knowing the trail, hooks and harness are proabably weaker and more accident-prone
