i had my civic hatch pretty dam low last year and never got stuck once. also i snowboard 30 days a season and made it up every ski hill nearby with out a problem.
lol i see these idiots try all the time, little do they know in the S2000, the rear top blocks out 99% of light, then my asian mod broadway rearview with tint owns it. And i have spoon blue tinted sides

The only time I regretted lowering a car, was when I did it without using the proper struts for a lowered application. I re-used my stock struts with a set of Eibach Sportlines on a Crapalier...
I drove across the country with it like that... some dumb guy in a Civic said "yeah, I cut my springs too and it bounces all over like that!"... sigh... wasn't cut springs...
Soon as I got home, I ordered a set of Koni struts... rode nice after that.

It sounds like you met a truck that wasn't very nice to you.
trust me, its worse.
i used to have a lowered rsx and had trucks tailgating me like crazy. he would just keep following me instead of passing by. i have no idea why he keep harassing me but it was annoying for sure thats why i hate truck drivers.
ive had this happened numerous times and i hadnt done anything wrong =\
but i think people are usually talking about the big lifted trucks with 20,000,000k hids and the diesels with black smoke puming out thinking there cool cuasing people cancer
the black smoke from diesels is better then the smoke from gasoline engines
Also I don't think theres a law on ride height in terms of going up. My freind got pulled over once and was told to put mud flaps on lol.
trust me, its worse.

Are you sure you've done nothing wrong?

I regret it when my exhaust makes this gut wrenching noise when I go over a bump.
I'm at pretty much stock height (give or take less than an inch due to spring sag), but depending on how quickly or slowly I go over a speed bump, I hear a scrape that's either my exhaust or my front mudflap.
But I want to go lower because stock height is kinda lame (and if I get wheels, stock height is I'm assuming a fail).
After lowering my mk2 jetta 3" on coilovers and driving around in Calgary (if you think the roads are bad here, think again) and I loved every minute of it. Especially 3 wheeling out of the particularly bad parking lots.

yeah but it's just more.......frequent if it's lowered.

I wish I can go even lower if not for all those stupid ramps and speedbumps.

i'm lowered and have this problem as well! however it really depends what's the situation
usually i'd just lower my head a bit and problem solved, but if they keep tailgating and blinding me, i'd just give it a bit more and more gas and other driver usually changes lanes and floors it past me. then i just hope he gets pulled over while i reduce back to usual speed
imo, it's stupid and pointless to brake hard to scare the tailgater...
they drive a truck, you drive a lowered car, you're most likely gonna get more damage than the truck. and that's just more hassle from you.
i had a friend who was stupid enough to do that when a F-150 was tailgating him with HIDs, my friend got rear ended while the truck had nothing but a few scratches and scuffs. took alot of time off his hands dealing with that. ok the truck driver had to pay, but was it worth it? hell no.
i think the idea of tilting your rear mirror upwards to blind the truck driver is pretty good, but then again, he might get pissed off and do something you'll end up regretting.
