Please help, lost my data access 3g connection
Hi to all
Asked my friend helped me to upgrade my HTC Magic+ (with the Official 911 patch) to CaperSlide V1.5 on Tuesday nite and got data access cut off on Wed afternoon. Talked to Rogers Tech support around 6pm last nite and signed some kind of waiver form, this evening still has no access to3G network.
May I know If I use another unlocked GSM non HTC phone and insert my SIM card from my HTC magic, will I be able to get my data access back instantly ?
Please kindly advise ASAP.

its takes about 24hrs to get your data back they say. took me about an hour though.
to answer your question, no you won't have data. This is from my experience so I'm not positive if it's the same for anyone else.

You should call again if you still don't have data within 24hrs.
Just explain that you already signed the waiver.
