Skinnypup,
The solution you posted does work, and I've been doing it whenever I know I will need a little extra from my battery, but do you or anyone else know if there is a permanent solution to this. Its kind of annoying having to do it every time Posted via RS Mobile
You shouldn't need to do battery calibration that often. It's more like a once in awhile thing when you notice that your battery isn't charging up correctly.

they look the same (even down to the shutter button) they have the same features (except not as robust? as the nokias)
they're announced at the same time yada yada... i mean if you cant see that they're obvious competitors and were designed similarly i dont know what else to do other than smack those phones on ur head and say "Hello????"
:P
i didnt say the nokias were the better phones; as there's the question of the OS (which i feel android may be more polished) and the question of the appearance could go to htc; but in terms of the alike features nokia edges out
Guys over at XDA have already ported the Desire HD rom onto the Desire. Man that was fast. Everything working except the camera.
Check out booting in 3sec with fastboot:
Anyone have swype? I found a version online but its expired already, have heard and read a lot about it but never tried it until now and pretty bumed out about this.
this guy is saying that the desire hd fast boot time is caused becuase the phone is in a sleep mode, not really turned off.
he rebooted the phone and it took like 30 seconds to bootup.
Fuck. Is anyone running leedroid 2.1A? I installed it just now and its now looping in the boot screen.
Edit: Tried recovery and it loaded up once but then hung on a blank black screen, after that I was never able to get back into recovery/ clockworks mod or w.e its called. Then I tried a full memory wipe from the menu you get from holding down the lower volume button and subsequently my phone is now stuck on a boot up animation that says android.
I'm running Leedroid 2.1a. No problems at all. All I did was flash overtop the existing ROM in clockwork recovery and rebooted. Maybe your ext3 partition is corrupted if you're using the apps2d+ version. Try swapping out or formatting the sd card. Strange that clockwork recovery isn't working anymore though.
^ Wow this totally sucks. I really wanted to get this phone too, but im not on wind, and don't plan on switching any time soon... fml.. back to looking for a new phone..
Anyone know if they will release the Desire Z for at&t/rogers?
