I doubt it. When I unlocked mine they needed my imei code and had to wait to get the unlock codes from htc. I assume it'll be the same thing for the z. I have to admit after looking at some photos it looks very nice, the aluminium back looks amazing compared to my desire.

I wanted this phone after reading all about it but when I saw this video, in the Nexus One thread, I am definitely going to get it now. Not sure if you watched it yet.

Personally I like the aluminum and some parts of sense 2.0 more then the hardware. I'm looking forward to locations

Got mine from wireless wave metro, they'll sell it w/o a contract.
Got it unlocked online in 5 mins, loving the phone!

Unlocked at http://www.mobileincanada.com/ for $20.

Using it on Rogers.

Hinge seems fine to me. It's not tight like your typical sliders but it not gonna flip open on it's own.

go to cellunlock.net and use the BBROCKS50 code to get 50% off any unlockcode!
then it'll be $20 for the desire Z unlock
