download smsfixtimes in the market, and set the time +5 hours or so, and the sms timeslots will be back to normal! but for the notifications, the time will still be off.

TOS'd 11-13-2010 04:38 PM

I'd need to read up on rooting and getting it to run on stock froyo first before I attempt anything.

Does anyone have a screen protector? Made for the phone and not custom cut for it? If so where did you get it?

w00tgasm 11-13-2010 05:09 PM

There was a link posted in the last page, just download what you need and follow the instructions.
There is also a tutorial video posted on YouTube by BlackPrince310.

I recommend the IS for the back, but NOT the front.

No wonder I couldnt find it, I went to day and asked all stores, no one has it. It's because you think i have the normal desire, I actually have the desire z/g2. All places said they didnt have it, but one place said check back in a week. I have a large screen protector, going to attempt to cut it down to size tonight...

Yea that was my original plan. I know from reading about the iphone, the SGP screen protectors are good. But they dont have anyhting for the desire z right now.
Would you go IS or BSE for the full body protection? I dont rmb the quality of both, but i did choose the BSE over the IS for my phone because the corners were done better.

Time to root, some time tonight when I understand what exactly i need to do.

SkinnyPupp 11-14-2010 05:34 PM

Never tried a BSE before, but I had a Zagg on both my Desire and Omnia II. Coverage was really good, and it doesn't peel at all. The skins are a water-free installation too, so they are easier to apply.

TOS'd 11-14-2010 05:49 PM

^ oh is it?? cause for the iphone 3g, you had to use with zagg, that liquid soap solution, or make your own for the BSE. but I guess that's because of the plastic material the iphone was made of?

Agreed. I hate the "stickiness" of IS on the front.

Simplex123 11-14-2010 06:21 PM

hey are your guys' phone connected to htcsense.com? (desire Z)
I can't seem to get anything working even though it says its connected to my number :S
