^sorry but you're probably out of luck. I made the same mistake when I bought the old desire and brought it back here thinking I could use 3g. Luckily I was able to sell it to someone on craigslist. |
My sister is selling her desire z soon so if you want it let me know. It's originally from bell so nam 3g Posted via RS Mobile |

If 3g on a HK desire z doesn't work on rogers, would 3g work for the bell desire z in hk? |

HK and Canada use different 3G bands, hence the need for HTC to release 2 versions of the same phone for each market. |

3G Network: HSDPA 900 / 2100 (Asia/Pacific, ie: 3 in HK) HSDPA 850 / 1900 (North America, ie: Rogers/Telus/Bell/Fido/AT&T) |
I'm thinking about getting the Desire for when I renew my contract at Telus. Any suggestions? I can get it for 79$ right now if I have a plan over 50$, which means I need to get a new plan. |
Hmm.. HTC Desire HD is now on Telus page. Coming soon. Edit: Rumor has it that it's Feb10 for $499 no contract price. |
