Which phone should I get ?? Hi there I am using gmail as my primary email, so I am using Rogers HTC Magic+ as my phone. But my 3g got cut off several times this week after I upgrade the Android OS from 1.5 to 2.1. Anyway, may I know which Android phone (unlocked one) should I get to replace my troublesome Htc Magic+ phone ?? I don't need the greatest and the latest model. AS long as I can check Gmail easily though my 3g data plan then I will be a happy camper. Please advise ASAP. |

op did say andriod phone, there's plenty of choices out there buncha HTCs, motorola droid, SE X10a and i think there's an acer phone coming to rogers that runs on andriod too? but i mean i u are gonna use rogers u might as well ask and see if u can HUP to any android phone |
Did you read your other thread? Your data was cut by rogers - Not because of a defective phone. your first step is to sign the waiver. Then you call and bitch if you still don't have data within 24hrs. its painful, but Rogers doesn't want any lawsuits, so they disable people's data if its not running the correct radio version (when you rooted, you probably changed your radio version) Posted via RS Mobile |
get the nexus one |
if you want something cheap get a hero. and read your other thread. |
I told him it's not the phone at fault, in fact us early adopters were screwed over worse. Well, op lost his 3G twice now after i rooted it so i can understand his frustration. Afaik they won't likely turn it off again since he's already called in twice. For the purpose you listed here, the Rogers Magic + suits your needs perfectly. There's also reason to wait as 2.2 us coming out soon, and if you're buying a new android phone, might as well wait for it to come out. I wasn't sure about 2.2's details when you asked me but after looking it up, there is a lot of changes under the hood that I wasn't aware of. Basically, drastic performance optimization. So I'd say just hold on to the Magic for now Posted via RS Mobile |
