Blackberry Mail + Application Questions - Berry NOOB Hey guys, I just got my Berry 9700 a week ago and I'm still getting accustomed to it.. Anyways, I linked my Gmail account to the BB Mail application. Is there a way that if I read the email on my phone it automatically marks it as read when I log into my gmail on a computer? Unlike the iPhone email app, the berry doesn't do this.. it's annoying to be honest.. Any Idea's? And in regards to the random applications that are constantly installed every time I install something for appworld... how do you delete them? I get these stupid demo's and random website apps on my phone that I cannot delete.. And I don't want to hide them, I want to delete them... They don't show up under options-applications, or advanced options.. it's annoying.. any idea's? |
Try relinking the account? As far as I know, GMail should sync both ways now. |
it does, mine all show as read |
I'm getting the same problem, mine only syncs one way. I've checked the rogers.blackberry.com and it only has contacts and deleted items to sync. |
i think it only syncs deleted items? if u want to sync email/contacts/etc. i think you need BES? correct me if i'm wrong. |
My guess is something in your gmail settings, check any options they have for syncing |
Does anyone know how to do it for hotmail? |
i ahve 2 gmails and hotmail and it works fine. just check ur phoen setting and on rogers bis |
I'm trying to figure out the same thing. Anyone know how? EDIT: Can it be done with Facebook too? |
if i recall correctly, i think your email options on the web has to be set on using IMAP? |
it wont work for hotmail, just gmail. |
I don't know how you guys have your e-mail set up but all my accounts sync to the server (everything I read/delete on my phone shows up as read/deleted on the server) including hotmail. |
