What year is it?

There's nothing wrong with tuning a car that has a slushbox in it. However, it really depends what you want to do with the car...

lol, do what you want.

you're tuning this for yourself, not for other people.

If its the latest Gen celica... then no

you can't make it into anything... check out www.newcelica.org and read up

you could buy a gt-s engine and swap it or a 3sgte engine and swap it then you can mod those things like crazy

even swapping engines and then modding would be cheaper than trying to mod the gt engine

this isn't even about tuning. Why would you even drive an automatic if you are even a bit of a sport car enthusiast?

you should consider getting rid of your 'body kit and rims' first and go clean if you are actually going to start working on it

ok think about it....

you are trying to mod an automatic Corolla S with 2 doors and a fancy shell

If the above sentence doesn't make you think "oh shit maybe it's a bad idea" then go right ahead.

Like most people said, it's your car. Tuning an automatic Celica or hooker and blow? It's your choice. Either way you aren't getting your money back or your money's worth.

Judging from the bodykit and rims... Maybe you can tune it by installing a louder exhaust?

^ well it was in the Celica GTS before it was in the previous gen Corolla XRS, plus the one in the corolla is slightly detuned.

turbo or nitrous, it solves everything

the new XRS is not longer the yamaha engine, it is now just a regular 2.4L camery 4 banger. Nothinig special

was it detuned..? i remember it still packed a punch though.. 180hp w/ the same six speed box.

i think same as the gts celica..

now if that motor was in a MR-S......

i find toyota motors a bit lacking nowadays... with the exception of their inline 6's, 3S series motors and their 4AG's..
