Been excited for this since euro 08 finished. I know it's a long shot this year but I hope Italy repeats. England won't win it. They always choke past group stage and I don't think they can get past Spain or brazil..

Soccer is always hard to guess a winner as all it takes is one goal off a set peice to change a game. Look at Greece in '04. Their whole run came off set peices.

Anyone going to commercial drive to catch games?

Spain is also my pick to win it

and I wouldn't rule out Ivory Coast to make it out of the group stage along with Brazil

I am also wondering this since most of South Africa is about 9 hours ahead of us.

Does anyone know what times the games are going to be played at South Africa time?

The games will be ranging from 7am to 11am local slots.

If you cheer for Italy or a Latin American team, commercial drive is definetly the best place to watch. I think the English community will be around downtown pubs. There's one on denman close to that library/school that shows the games.

Greek games on broadway and balsam!

kitsilano billiards

I want to buy a greece soccer jersey with samaras on the back but if I use soccer.com the shipping comes out to 150. (with UPS 2 day... they have international shipping but no tracking and no insurance!)

Group buy? lol./

I haven't personally dealt with these guys but find out how much they charge, it may be a better option:

Samaras

Shipping rates

If anyones looking to get a certain name for their jersey, north america sports orders them in, but they need a list of ten (im number 3 of 3 lol) and once they get ten they order and it takes 2 to three days to come in and they print it there. Price is a 100 or so for the jersey and 40 for the name.
