| Sunday night fun

Imagine a residential single lane. parking on both sides of the lane. I approach as per the diagram. Buddy opposite approaches. He has two outs. Reverse and yield to his right. I can only reverse. No space for me to yield. I motion for him to yield. He refuses.
I shut down the engine, and settle in for a long night. Load up the iphone and chat with my buddies, and take photos and videos of the opponent.
They:
1)knock on my window and yell at me
2)call me a racial slur
3)get their families to come out from the nearby house to intimidate me
4)demand me to reverse without acknowledging that we are in a deadlock
5)his wife comes out and calls me a drug dealer
says i own the road cuz i drive a luxury car.
6)stalk outside in the rain
7)turn informer sumanumanuma goin'a play em, I likey boom boom down ( they call the poe poe)
I:
1)turn off my engine.
2)take photos of them and video
3)do the finger victory sign when they shoot photo at me
4)call my friends on iphone bluetooth and chat while charging the phone and playing iphone craps and dice.
5) 20 min in I offer a truce. roll the dice on iphone. 1 is low 6 is high. lowest number has to reverse out. They tell me to fuck off.

Opinions! What would you do?

So somebody comes up to your car, impolitely demands his way, calls you a racial slur and a drug dealer, and all you pussies response to that is "yes sir, you are right sir, let me get out of your way sir and shine your shoes too?" There was no courtesy or respect in his approach.
I'm glad you brought up the case of the police. I never called the police. But more on that later!
The principal of the matter is I have right of way and he has more outs to yield.

oh.. and for what I would've done.
in the following order:
1) while you are still in your car, just politely point to the parking spot next to his car. If this works, go to step 3.
2) he refuses, so you should just back up and let him pass.
3) post this on RS

Sorry but what you did didn't show any sort of bravado... You stayed in your car all locked up (even after the racial slur i presume?) Personlly I woulda just backed up and shook my head when he drove by me and that's that. There's a time for diplomacy and a time for action.. Diplomacy woulda been way to go.

However since you reached this position, I would try the following things.
-assuming you did everything you said..
1) keep surfing through RS (ex. porn thread, etc. etc.)
2) call a friend to drive up behind you and block you from reversing
3) repeat until he reverses

So you don't stand up for your rights? You let anybody bulldoze you over? What about people who cut in line? What about other little incivilities that ill mannered people throw at you? You just accept it and let them make a mockery of our way of life and our conventions?
It no doubt crossed my mind that I could have yielded, but he was impolite right off the bat. The argument is that he too could have and should have yielded.

And staying in your car if you are safe is the best bet. However, I did walk out later to survey the scene. Also, I gave him a very good face saving option to roll the dice! Besides, I'm a big guy and he's a little guy, so no I wasn't afraid of him at all. As a matter of fact, leaving your car to confront would escalate the situation to potentially physical. I wasn't there to beat him up, I just wanted to teach him a lesson. If it costs me time to enlighten a brother, so be it!

there are certain situations that a man gotta stand up for himself.
at the beginning of this whole thing, this wasn't one of those situations. however, now it is. So you better not pussy out. Seriously, you better not pussy out now that you've waited 20+ mins.
Don't bs to me that you've never cut anyone off in traffic before, or have never done any illegal driving activities (U-turn at an intersection during night). There are some laws that are so little (ex. J-walking), that it is just there because it is just there. IMO
a man doesn't whine over such little thing in the first place before any of the whole waiting began.
You bitching that you have the right of way, which you do, is like you bitching some teenage kids J-walking and you had to slow down for that.

Offer different means of figuring it out other than the dice.
