I just wanted to tell you guys on how much we ended up getting for the fundraiser with the Vancouver Food Bank.
In CASH, we had $288 come in..HOWEVER $1 can buy $3 worth of food so in reality, we ended up making $864!!!!! One full bag/food parcel for one person is worth $5 so we just fed approximately 173 bodies (could vary as we're not factoring in children eat less than adults etc).
As for our boxes of food which was packed full ...I have no idea exactly how much we helped out with that as I didn't (and should have) make a count of what was exactly donated. SOrry
But regardless of that, WE AS REVSCENE did well and I thank everyone for their generous donations.

When i was listening to the soundsgood results for the dbs competition, I heard that some people drove down from duncan, and kelowna, and vernon. Those people came all the way down here without complaining and some people from east van are complaining over a bridge, I think that's real hurt.
we had guys come from seattle. not as far but they were willing to deal with crossing the border to go to the meet. with the 3 premeets, they left at 4/5 am on 2 hours of sleep.
nobody has an excuse for waking up at 10 and driving 20 minutes to a meet.
i liked all the sponsor booths this yeah. especially the yokohama booth. bigger lot would be nice, but great meet overall.
Wow, looks like an amazing meet! I'm in Australia for a year or two and missed this one. Thanks to all for setting it up and the volunteers. Hopefully by the time i get back i'll have a car that's worthy of showing at a Revscene meet!
Thanks everyone for posting up so many photo's, i'm sure it'll use alot of my expensive internet data plan here in Aussie. Cheers!

Hey all, the revscene folks have finally activated my account after a month in limbo.
Anyhow, thanks all for a great meet, I'm glad you guys all liked my dog and her hotdog costume...LOL
Figured it would make for a funny joke considering it is the SausageFest.
Sorry for bumping an old thread but wanted to share http://www.pasmag.com/events/top-eve...ne-sausagefest
