It's not going anywhere soon. It is just beginning. It is great to see stance and fitment finally taking off in the US.

I think it is awesome that it transcends all manufacturers and can be appreciated no matter what car.

Domestic cars are the harder ones to break into right now. There is a GTO owner going flush with mildly stretched tires gettting hated on like crazy on the GTO forums.

amen brother!
your cars are tight!
i used to daily my car too and this was how it sat

on a side note, i've read about that GTO guy being ragged on for doing improper fitment, but look on stanceworks and speedhunters about this guy who goes by the name ARETEE. he rocks a current gen charger SRT on 22x10 (or 10.s)

When you take the bounce out of the wheels, you put it under the seat!

I got bitched at by a cop for this, he thought I was drunk swerving, but I was trying to dodge these two huge manhole dips on kingsway, he was driving right behind me and pulled up next to me to give me a warning. I explained to the cop if I was to go over the manhole like everyone else with fat tires and high cars I would not only bend a wheel, but probably lose the inner fender liner.
he wasn't impressed.... but no ticket left me impressed

thats exactly where it happened. I stopped right at the red light next to Churchs chicken and that's when the cop pulled up next to me and gave me his little lecture in his little cop anti glare shades with his little cop issue buzzcut.

Looking at the pictures, they all look the same.

So I would like to do something similar, but I usually have 4 or 5 people in the car. 3 in the back of my Accord sedan.
Won't the fenders rub on the tires for these cars if there are 3 people in the back or you have something heavy in the trunk?
If so, how would you fix that in my situation?

Also, how comfortable is the ride? Is it bumpy as hell? I want to maintain some comfort..

I have an accord on tein ss lowered to the lowest settings and it's still a smooth ride, my fenders has all been rolled my rear bumper tab has been moved back, rear bumper shaved to fit the wheels (18x8 -35offset)

when I have just me and my girlfriend in the car no problems. However when I have 1 more in the back I scrape going everywhere.

so if you want to be hellaflush, you need stiff suspension if you want to carry people. If you got tein ss (even on the hardest settings) it's still comfortable but just not drivable.

consequence from being low and stupid bumper tab....

at this low

HellaFlush vs VIP?
Wheels look straight, VIP have more negative camber?
Is that the point of Flush?

VIP is "Hellaflush" on a 4 door Luxury Sedan.

And as for Comfort?
I had tons of comfort.
About as much comfort as any car with low profile tires and coilovers.

The height makes no difference on comfort when you're on coilovers. You're always gonna have the car at that stiffness level no matter what the height.

Stretched tires don't make a difference on Comfort. So the tire is stretched. So what? My ass feels maybe the slightest bit more of the road since I have higher tire pressure. The difference is so insignificant, it doesn't matter.

Fact:
My SC that was slammed on H&R C/O + 235/40/18 / 255/35/18 was still more comfortable than my friend's SW20 with Ohlins, and standard 225/50/16's at a 1 inch drop.

His car feels EVERYTHING on the road. Every pebble, twig, and grain of sand. Might be a spring rate issue.
My car felt some things on the road, but it still retained it's Lexus boat comfort.

Yeah, sometimes when you forget about a pothole, you're gonna feel it, and some wind is gonna get knocked out of you, but other than that, it's perfectly fine. Just find another route that isn't Kingsway.

I don't know why people are questioning comfort. It sound like you've never driven a car with any suspension mods. Even Lowering springs are gonna make the ride harsh. Anytime you play around with Spring Rates/Damper settings it's going to affect the OEM ride comfort. But the same set of coilovers are going to feel the exact same on the same car. Hellaflush or not.

Just do yourself a favor and don't get a shitty set of Dampers that aren't Valved for the Spring rate you're running.
Like:
All those cheapos running Lowering Springs on Stock Shocks.
All those cheapos running Blown Coilovers. KW/Bilstein/Ohlins/Aragosta/HKS/TEIN/Apex'i/Tokico/Koni/Whatever. Blown is blown.
All those cheapos running Megans/K Sport/ BC Racing/ whatever knockoff shit you guys buy. Same Factory does not = Same product. Get your Dampers Dyno'd (Yes, There are Shock Dynos) and see if it's even matched for your Springs. $100 says Any of you running Coilovers by any of those knockoff brands aren't.

BUT. If you're not talking about actual Comfort level, and you're talking about comfort in general... There's almost no Difference. You might need to drive slower, but that's not exactly Detrimental is it?

We're not building Track cars here guys.

besides, comfort is a subjective and personal matter. what might be comfortable for one, might not be for the other. i used megan racing on my car because they were the only coilovers available for the car, and i ran 225/35 stretched on 9.5s and if felt no different from when i used to run eibach lowerings and 245/35 on 8.5wide. the car felt heavier, that's all.

comfort? maybe you need a better driver's seat with massagers lol
people question comfort because of the bumpy-ness and stiffness of the ride on hellaflushed/vip'ed cars, but what about all those people running racing seats like bride or recaro? isn't being cramped in a tiny seat even less comfortable?

I'm going to go ahead and say it. I hate the name. "Hella flush" in my mind sounds like some stupid bboy underground dance-off phrase, somewhat along the lines of the same idiots who came up with the phrase "Oh, snap!" (white boy skaters?).

I would be personally embarassed to say the phrase "Hella flush" in person. I'm sure many people do, even. If anything, I'd whisper it, or say it so quickly as to minimize the embarassment of saying such a hideously awful term.

All that aside, I think the cars look great. It just needs a new name.

Don't get me started on "Murdered out" and "hard parking"....
