I've updated to .214 OMG so much smoother.
no problems whatsoever atm
Battery life is much better as well.
this .214 has potential to be official for Rogers 9800, but its just a guess on my part.
As I mainly use this phone with BES, its smooth sailing when it comes to accessing the enterprise!

agreed
.214 is a lot smoother than the previous os's
also i like the littled added arrow in the browser where you can bring up the url box without scrolling back all the way to the top.
1) i leave it at favourites, but after a while of using other programs, when i return to the home screen, it goes to ALL again.
2) i think my phone started lagging a lot more after i installed whatsapp
3) if i leave 3g on for a day, i'll get maximum 1 day of power. would it be a battery issue or phone issue?
4) facebook contacts resulted in duplicating my contact list, and when i tried to update with microsoft outlook it would keep fucking up. it wasnt until i deleted every contact with a facebook photo before it worked again.
1. Luckily I haven't run into that problem. I usually leave it on all anyway.
3. Might be the battery. I have my wifi n bbluetooth turned off. Posted via RS Mobile

for anyone that doesn't like the at&t logo on their torches
you can use a copper penny to take it off

damn, i can't upgrade to the 246 without losing CJK support.
they really gotta make this multi-language thing MANDATORY... i shouldnt have to buy a "world phone" and wait a month for a LEAKED os to read chinese/jap/korean
I was just at Rogers and they told me it comes out the 24th?
Talked to a store manager and she said they're hoping they get it on the 24th. Then she said she'll believe it when she sees the shipment lol. Posted via RS Mobile
so can anyone cross compare this to the Iphone? I don't have a fricken clue what to do now. I currently have the curve 8900 non 3G and don't know which one to get lol

I can only compare with this with the Iphone 3g and this is what i've found:
1. Torch: battery life just over 2 days vs 12 hrs Iphone
2. Texting is much easier on the Torch
3. Torch doesn't lag as much as my Iphone
4. Connection with my Blueant S1 works much better on the Torch
5. Syncing with Outlook I find a lot easier to handle with the Blackberry Desktop Manager then Itunes
The Iphone is fine for multimedia but in terms of the basic phone functions the Torch works much better for me. I never did use the apps that Apple has anyway.
