I ordered a similar one but in black can't wait for it to arrive next week. The problem with the one you shared is that it's not the same colour throughout so it looks more like a sticker than an actual replacement IMO and not a fan of the camera shape if you know what I mean

Anyone having data issues on Fido. Not like last time when there was no 3g reception. But my whatsapp and e-mail weren't updating for a while. I restarted it and it's all back to normal and got all the e-mail from the last 4 hours lol

yeah some weird shit was happening withi my phone.. kept getting the same fb notifications and my IM+ was unable to log out, nor reconnect and I got messages like 50 minutes after after closing the app. I didn't restart tho.

I need some help with my Winterboard.
It seems that when i select a theme and Re-Spring the new theme doesn't apply?

The icons stay the same and the background wallpaper is a stock one.

In Winterboard, tap and hold the theme and drag it higher up the list.
Re-spring and see if it works now.

Tried that it didnt work. I also unchecked everything else like my lockscreen info and just a theme. Still doesn't change.

Installous and iTune update

Do you lose your pirated apps (apps from Installous) after you update your OS? [because you will lose your jailbreak after an update, hence losing Installous as well]

Does iTune backup the pirated apps as well?

edit: it looks like as long as the pirated app is an Apple approved app, it will still be there after the update, and any 3rd party app would be gone?

Thinking of getting the iPhone4 or the Blackberry 9780....

I heard that the syncing system for iPhones are a pain in the ass, and also the constant updates + unlocks are a nuisance (heard that, everytime you update your OS, you gotta backup your phone on itunes and re-upload it onto your phone and some apps don't work after or something)

Can someone explain more experiences?

I just made a second gmail account just for the purpose of my contacts... sync it to that and it'll update.

put 4 into recovery mode, make it restore to a backup of your 3gs, and then it'll be your 3gs on your 4 pretty much

The problem with that one is that the screws are made out of plastic so they'll get stripped after you (un)screw them a few times. I don't know if you can use the screws that go with the glass. It's also going to get scratched easily. $13 is pretty cheap though.

Anyone having slow wifi issues on telus with a linksys router?
videos always buffering, email fetching takes forever, etc.
but when I'm at a friends house with shaw and dlink router it's really fast!

are you connected through a router?

maybe you need to open up that ip in your router settings

i just checked my data usage and it says i'm over 4gb in sent and 4.1gb in received. I swear I haven't used my phone this much. This is bullshit.
