just ordered mine so hopefully be here by end of next week

thing is, i dont know if i want to put it on, right now my phone is completely blacked out with the black bumper, dunno how it will look with the brushed aluminium

I do have appsync for 4.2.1. It installs automatically when you download installous.

I'm running into the exact same problem as you too. I downloaded Navigon on PC since it was too big to dl over wifi. And when it asked me to sync my apps. All my Installous apps were killed and Navigon got put in. Such a pain in the ass. Appsync is installed as well.

^ i think there is no real "way" to fix it ...

my friend/family had similar problems. they tried uninstalling, restoring, everything.

things sometimes just screw up with itunes (apps/music) and don't work. i've tried everything on the internet but it just doesnt seem to work

i have ran into this problem everytime when i have apps that are instlal thru installous and try to sync with itunes.

my solution?

a:
-use installous to install everything, but never sync your phone and lose all your apps when you upgrade/restore you firmware

b:
-download all apps exclusively through the computer and than sync to phone via itunes. retain all apps its save data when i sync, restore, update firmware or whatever


i give up trying to get app install from installous to sync back to computer. if i manage to get it fix it will break down soon after too inconsistant. download on comp than sync have always worked for it.

when you plug in your phone, slide to cancel the sync, right click your phone's name and transfer purchases, it till take out the app from your phone and put it into your itunes apps library

Has anybody tried the Budphone yet?

It's in the app store and does free long distance calls in canada. I installed it, registered on their website and tried making calls but I keep getting an error.

It keeps giving me this message saying that I need to enable caller ID but I have it enabled on my iPhone 4...wtf

Anyone having a problem with visual voicemail?
I just got it last week for $1 lol but everytime I respring/restart etc it makes me reset the voicemail password and greeting.

^ I ran into that issue when I first got my phone as well. Read on a few forums that the only way to fix it is to restore your phone.

I'm looking to get a case and screen protector for my phone. What what I'm getting at from everyone's comments, it's zagg, sgp, and I think I'm missing something else for screen protectors. I tested it earlier and I think it's just a glitch, my actual voicemail greeting stayed the same. I don't really use voicemail though so not a big deal still kinda annoying cause it has a badge

One of my friends has that case, while I have the sgp neo hybrid matte series.

I have to say of the 4 cases i've had it fits the most snug/tight. It feels a little flimsy before you actually put it on (the frame at least), and it almost feels as though you're going to break it when you try to put it on lol, but once you've got it it's great.

Definitely has a solid build quality and imo it looks great.
