It should take 10 minutes to disassemble the iPhone.. You literally take apart the whole phone just to get to the front lol.. Lots of screws

Lots of screws that are different sizes too so make sure you mark them down somewhere

^you can replace the whole set of screws for like 3$..
if you lose a screw youre screwed LOL
oh yeah the front housing has adhesive on it so you need the opening kit which is like 3$..

my nexus one would regularly last 20+ hours with regular use whereas I get maybe 12 hours use out of my iphone with the same usage

It totally depends on how the phone is being used, what apps are left open, etc... I have to charge my iPhone4 every 2 or 3 days the way I use it. After a day of heavy usage, I have to charge it every night though.

hey guys, iphone noob here with a noob question

is there a way to turn off the iphone when it is stuck on the apple logo or connect to itunes screen?

Reason I'm asking is because I have to use the tethered jailbreak for the iphone 4, so everytime i restore on itunes I have to re-jailbreak. I want to just turn off my phone so I can run the tethered boot

Edawg, when you're in the apple screen try running redsnow and hit just boot tethered now. Then do the DFU mode instructions. This restores the jailbreak and boots the phone with out having to restore all the apps. This works for my iPod Touch 4G ios 4.2 should be same as yours.

You guys ever try to download an app and then it gets stuck with "Waiting..."

You have to enable it by going into iTunes. Go to the "Info" tab and check "Sync Address Book Contacts" back up your old phone and then connect your new one.

Reboot the phone and it should be already installed.

DO NOT BUY THE SWITCHEASY NUDE CASE.
