^dock with speakers or no speakers? I diy'd mine. Mine only has a speaker when connected to the computer though

This is kinda off topic but it's sort of related since it's an ipod touch.

Anyways, I just replaced my lcd screen for my ipod touch 3rd gen and just jail broke it for the first time. Everything is working fine except for the tilt sensor.

I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software issue since this is also my first time using this ipod touch. I bought it used and replaced the lcd and jail broke it first before I start using it. I was a little rough when I pried the ipod opened so I am not surprised if it's a hardware issue.

I just want to know if I am supposed to install a package from cydia to make the tilt sensor work? There's nothing in the settings where I can toggle it on or off.

4.2.1 was released some time ago...

no speaker. just a charging thing so the phone is on a stand. there's a whole bunch of them (with audio line out) on DX that mutes ur phone

Just diy. I have one made out of Lego and a casette box as the other diy box. Take pix for you next year when I go home hahah

How I usually do it is I run redsn0w and get it to the point where it tells you turn your phone off and then only click Next to start the tethered boot. At that point, I do the Power+Home press to get the phone to reset. Once the Apple logo comes up, hit Next on redsn0w and go through the motions (i.e. hold down the power only, then power+home, release home and hold down power like the instructions tell you). You just have to be fairly quick when doing it.

iphone 4 alarm aint workin on 2011 lol,only way to make it work is to select repeated days of the week

Yep this alarm issue totally fucked me over.. missed plans and woke up at 4pm!!!!!!

Is this alarm thing random for you guys? I noticed mine didn't ring after the day light savings day occured. My recurring alarm for 4 days of work rang 1 hour later.

Other than that, I've been waking up fine for the past couple weeks.

My alarm isn't workig either... And I had a 830am flight today!!

However, I magically woke up at 610am for some reason.

Is the untethered jailbreak out yet for newest fw?

The date on my iPhone didn't change when it hit the new years which would explain why some if your alarms didn't work. I had to reboot the phone then the date changed.
